Hydrofacial Benefits

Glycolic Acid

Glycolic Acid is part of the alpha hydroxy family.

Glycolic Acid is derived from natural fruit acids (alpha hydroxy acids or AHAs) to rejuvenate the skin by encouraging the shedding of old, sun-damaged surface skin cells. Glycolic acid is the alpha hydroxy acid most frequently used for acid peel facial treatments. It works by stimulating new growth of skin and collagen by decreasing the bond that holds dead skin cells on the surface. This allows dead cells to be removed gradually, leaving behind a layer of smoother and softer skin.

Glycolic acids come in different strengths, 30%-70%. A Glycolic Acid Peel is beneficial in treating the following skin conditions in order to reveal a brighter, smoother skin texture:

  • Sun damaged skin
  • Rough keratinized skin
  • Finely lined skin
  • Age spots on hands and face and other parts of the body
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Certain acne prone skins

Hydrofacial Benefits

This serum-based exfoliating treatment revolutionizes traditional microdermabrasion, delivering superior skin resurfacing results. Using a simultaneous combination of serums and a patented HydraPeel™ abrasion tip, this non-invasive, non-irritating treatment cleanses, exfoliates, extracts and hydrates. In just 30 minutes, skin feels smoother, firmer and hydrated, and pores appear smaller through the cleansing out of blackheads and impurities. Meanwhile, increased cell turnover and antioxidant infusion help to combat early signs of photoaging. This treatment is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive skin.

Peptide Infusion add-on: Infusing the skin with peptides, which contain matrix proteins and soluble collagens, helps result in a noticeably firmer, smoother and more youthful appearance.
