Facial rejuvenation of a patient is not only technique dependent but is also based on healthy skin. Preoperatively, the patient should not only be assessed by the surgeon, but by an Aesthetician as well.

To obtain the best results, and to recover easily from surgical procedures, the skin should be prepared in advance of the surgery. Approximately two weeks prior to surgery, the Aesthetician will evaluate the patient and will set up a skin care program.

Two weeks after the surgical procedure, an important follow-up visit to the Medi-Spa is scheduled. During that visit, the Aesthetician will advise the patient on skin treatments available to speed up the healing process, as well as decrease bruising and swelling.
