Henri P. Gaboriau, MD, FACS
Dr. Henri P. Gaboriau is a board certified, Seattle plastic surgeon and a Diplomate of both the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery. He is also a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Gaboriau obtained his first medical degree from the Paris XII University School of Medicine, doing his residency in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. He then transferred to Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he obtained his second medical degree. He completed a residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Tulane University as well as a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Gaboriau's recognition and awards include the James W. McLaurin Award for Best Thesis in the field of Otolaryngolgy/Head and Neck Surgery, received in 1994, and the Best Business Award received in 2002 from the Sammamish Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to being a presenter at scientific meetings, Dr. Gaboriau has authored and co-authored numerous publications. He is one of the 251 nationwide members of the Botox Cosmetic National Education Faculty and he is a member of the Radiesse Medical Education faculty. As a member of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery's Resource Development Committee, Dr. Gaboriau is responsible for developing questions for the annual written exam regarding the Psychological Aspects of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Gaboriau has a long history of medical humanitarian activities including work at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at La Rabta Hospital in Tunis, Tunisia; and community service at the Indian Health Services on the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota. He is also a participant in the Faces of Honor program through the AAFPRS, providing free surgical services for America's armed forces veterans Most notably, Dr. Gaboriau is co-founder and president of the non-profit "Face, Heart & Mind Foundation" (formerly, "Heart 2 Heart"), dedicated to helping disfigured battered children.
A strong proponent of community involvement, Dr. Gaboriau is past President of the Sammamish Chamber of Commerce and a Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Sammamish. Dr. Gaboriau is fluent in French and is able to cater to the French and Canadian communities.
Military service includes working in the Service de Sante des Armees (Army's Department of Health), Hospital of the Invalides, Paris, France.
