Kathy Czajka
Office Manager 

Kathy has been the Sammamish Center Office Manager since 2003.  She was employed previously as an office manager for a group of plastic surgeons, as manager of a large customer service department, and as a stay-at-home mother for several years. 

Kathy has lived in Sammamish since 1987, where she has been active in the community throughout the years. Her activities have included coaching soccer and Little League, working on PTSA-related projects, and doing volunteer work in the local schools.  In her spare time, Kathy now enjoys exercising, reading, and spending time with friends, and her three grown sons and their families.

Raihana Mahan
Licensed Clinical Aesthetician

Raihana graduated from the Euro Institute of Skin Care in 2004. Consistently receiving the highest grades in her class, she received recognition awards for product knowledge and service.

Raihana is a Licensed Aesthetician and professional make-up artist in the State of Washington and has extensive experience as a beauty advisor for several cosmetic lines. As a graduate of the Euro Institute, Raihana has a wide range of knowledge and skills, both technical and holistic. Her areas of expertise include skin analysis, Ayurvedic skin typing, aromatherapy, nutrition, detoxification, European facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, photofacial therapy, HydraFacials, laser hair removal, acne treatments, facial and body waxing, and lash and brow tinting.

Janie Dufault Yakovlevitch, ARNP
Nurse Practitioner

In 1999, Janie graduated from the University of Washington Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program. For the last few years she has worked in a vascular surgery practice, both assisting in surgery and managing patients with arterial and venous problems, including varicose and spider veins. Janie is the proud mother of a grown son, and when not working in medicine, she has a business creating flame worked glass art jewelry and beads.

Her other interests include scuba diving, yoga, cooking and outdoor sports.

Julia Smith
Licensed Surgical Technician/Medical Assistant

Julia has 15 plus years working in the medical field, with the last 10 in the specialities of Plastic Surgery and Dermatology. At the Sammamish Center, Julia's expertise is utilized as a Surgical Technologist/Medical Assistant, certified by the State of Washington. She assists Dr. Gaboriau with all in-office procedures and appointments, as well as with procedures performed in our ambulatory surgical center. Julia also provides pre and post-operative education and post-operative care for our patients.

Julia graduated, with honors, from Seattle Pima Medical Institute with a 3.9 GPA. She got her Diploma of Science in Nursing while in her native Russia, and did her internship and residency in general surgery, oncology, emergency and ICU. Dedicated to our patients and their quality of care, "My goal is to provide the best skilled care to patients of the Sammamish Center. I bring my good humor and positive attitude with energy to my workplace."

Katie Bell Jones
Licensed Clinical Aesthetician

Katie graduated from the Euro Institute in 2008 in the 95% percentile of her class. Her knowledge and techniques have resulted in a loyal clientele base.

Katie is also an Acne Specialist. She is able to help adjust the clinical and home care regimens to help both teens and adults suffering from acne. Katie is a top Makeup Artist in Washington in addition to being a licensed Aesthetician. As a makeup artist, Katie can recommend different makeup lines and products to use that will cover up any current acne flare ups, while not exacerbating the problem at hand.

"As a young adult I began to suffer from acne and I know what it can do to a person's self-esteem. I want to help people restore their skin back to that 'baby perfect' state. We have so much else to think about in life that acne should not be a concern." - Katie Jones

In addition to being an acne specialist, Katie's other areas of expertise include microdermabrasion,
chemical peels, phototherapy, waxing, Hydrafacials, European facials, and laser hair removal.
