Janie Dufault, ARNP, graduated from the University of Washington, having received both her Bachelor of Science and Master's of Science in Nursing. Since becoming a nationally accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 1997, she has worked closely with surgeons in multiple surgical specialties, including cardiac, neuro, and vascular surgery, providing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post operative care for patients. Janie has been practicing at the Sammamish Center since 2007.

During the ten years prior to joining the Sammamish Center, Janie gained extensive experience as a nurse practitioner in a vascular surgery practice, assisting in a variety of vascular surgery procedures and directing care of patients with varicose veins, deep vein blood clots and non-healing, chronic wounds, as well as providing cosmetic improvement of spider veins with the use of sclerotherapy.
Currently, Janie also works as a flamework glass artist, creating handmade, glass art jewelry, cabinet knobs, and lamp finials. Her work can be viewed at www.Glasspassions.com. She and her husband are avid scuba divers and love to travel. Their underwater sights often influence her artwork, as do the colors and patterns of natural wonders encountered in their travels.
