I am thirty-three years old and work as a hairstylist. I am single. I don't have any children. I lead an active lifestyle and regularly work out at the gym. I want to look good and present as being very polished, especially to my clients, and yet when it comes to my everyday beauty routine, I consider myself to be low-maintenance. I wear very little makeup and I don't spend a lot of time putting myself together. I take pride in having a fresh appearance, a look that relies on good hair, good makeup and good skin.

Being in the beauty business inspires me to want to look as flawless as possible. Twice I tried botox to reduce the crease in between my eyebrow, the deep creases in my forehead and my crows feet. I had deep creases in the folds in between my nose and around my mouth that had been especially bothering me. One side had a deeper crease than the other. Until Radiesse, I had not tried any other product to solve this problem. Dr. Henri Gaboriau told me about a new filler called Radiesse that can create some good results by filling out the area and filling in the lines.

I had total trust in Dr. Gaboriau, so I went ahead with the injections of Radiesse. I saw results immediately. I didn't have any side effects. At first the site of the injections were a little swollen and felt tight. I have only had one injection with one slight touch-up. In two days everything was perfect. It has been a year since I have first used Radiesse and I am very pleased with the results.

I am 68 years old, married, and I have three grown children. I lead a very active lifestyle, belong to a gym and regularly work out. I have had an extensive career as a designer in both fashion and for interiors. I do have a strong sense of what is aesthetically pleasing for apparel, décor, and for people. Currently I work in the tourism industry, specifically I work in guest services at a large winery. I am often in the public eye and it is important for me to have a polished appearance.

Given my long history in the fashion industry, for me, the concept of beauty holds special significance. I enjoy seeing people who are well groomed, healthy looking and who obviously take care of themselves.

Prior to using Radiesse, I have never tried any other cosmetic fillers. I do see an aesthetician and I periodically get facials and microdermabrasian treatments. I have had glycolic peels to remove sunspots. It was my aesthetician who said I would be a good candidate for Radiesse. I had Radiesse injected in the labial folds around my mouth. I am thirty-nine years old and work as a medical assistant for a plastic surgeon who specializes in ocular plastics or reconstruction of the eye area. Prior to this job I had worked for four years as a medical assistant for a dermatology practice. I still work on a contract basis for several highly respected dermatologists. So I am familiar with the many types of cosmetic fillers that are available.

I am married and my lifestyle is relatively easygoing. I work out somewhat, but I would not describe myself as athletic. My opinions about beauty were formed from an early age. I always thought about what makes people pretty or beautiful. My mother used to describe beauty as being defined by standards set by society. She used to call it Magazine pretty-it's all in the features, the nose, the lips and high cheekbones. I have to emphasize the feature of high cheekbones because it was kind of ironic that no one in my family had any definition in their cheekbones. All of my life I have wanted high cheekbones and full shapely lips.

With Radiesse I finally got what I wanted. Some people use Radiesse due to age, to restore what they once had. In my case I wanted what I never had. When restylane first came out, I did try it on my lips and it was okay, but I wanted shapely lips, more than puffy lips. Then I tried Radiesse in both my cheeks and in my lips and wow what a difference it made. The Radiesse accentuated my cheekbones in a way that brought more attention to my eyes. I receiving so many compliments on my eyes while I was at work, which is, after all, a focus for creating a new appearance for the eyes. Radiesse had an amazing impact on my lips. For the first time, I have my long coveted cupid's bow.

I have been using Radiesse for just over a year. Last month I just had a small touch up. Compared to Restylane, Radiesse is more cost effective. Radiesse costs almost the same as Restylane but lasts twice as long. Radiesse is of higher quality and gave my lips a defined shape whereas restylane just gave me fluff. Value for value, dollar for dollar, Radiesse is a superior product in every way. At age 39, I have the features now that I have always wanted.
