Question:
When I raise my eyebrows, I get deep horizontal wrinkles on my forehead. Most of the time they are not quite as deep but are still very noticeable. Can Botox be used to smooth these wrinkles or is a browlift recommended?

Answer:
The best treatment for the deep wrinkles of the forehead is Botox. If placed correctly, Botox injections will smooth out the forehead without giving the brow a downward appearance. Usually 15 – 20 units of Botox is sufficient to erase the forehead wrinkles. Do keep in mind that after Botox, you cannot raise the brow as highly as you could before, which gives a change to your facial expression.
