Rosacea is a skin condition that has multiple origins (heredity, environment, diet, skin care regimen and aging). Usually Rosacea appears in the mid-twenties but the frequency of outbreaks increases with age and sun exposure. The symptoms are usually the following: flushing of the face, breakout of papules, a dry skin appearance, and broken blood vessels. Because this is a skin condition and not a disease the goal is remission of the symptoms, not to "cure" it.
